Job description:We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Measure Marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, experience with Click Books software and a solid grasp of the Canadian taxation system and laws.Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Click Books software
- Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data
- Prepare and process invoices, bills, and other financial documents
- Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
- Generate financial reports and summaries for management review
- Ensure compliance with Canadian taxation laws and regulations
- Assist with financial audits as needed
- Provide support to the accounting team as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with Click Books software
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with the Canadian taxation system and laws
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CPB) is a plus
